Fondue & Friends

It's become an annual thing. A group of us girls all get together over the Christmas break and basically eat and talk. Pretty simple really, but always lots of fun. I don't think Steve ever quite understands how I can talk to my girlfriends for hours, and that the conversation will start with one topic, change about a hundred times, but ultimately end up where it began.

This Christmas we decided to have fondue. We started with meat and veggies (attempted to dip the veggies in batter which was a bit sloppy but worked out). The bread and melted cheese that Rebekah made was quite popular...especially with one friend...you know who you are...I've never seen her eat so much! :) The highlight was, of course, the dessert fondue which consisted of two types of chocolate with fruit, marshmallows and angel food cake to dip. YUM.

I'm looking forward to next year's already!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my page! This looks like fun. Last year I had a girls weekend at our cabin on Keats Island and it was a blast! Wine, chocolate, strawberries, chick flicks, long walks...I am going to have to repeat it this year.

By the way, there are some CUTE photos on my page that I think you, as a dog lover, will like!
